Saracens RUFC : October 2011 [show / hide]
SARACENS RUFC
|
October 2011 saw Artificial Grass Maintenance Ltd visit Saracens RUFC training ground in St. Albans for an intensive maintenance visit. Although receiving intensive maintenance, nothing was in place to regularly brush and decompact the 3G surface on a weekly basis. Watching the Renew2 Machine in operation, Coach Scott Murphy was impressed with the multi-function action; allowing the surface to be brushed, decompacted, distributed and finished in one pass. Although Artificial Grass Maintenance Ltd recommends the Renew is pulled by a 13+ horsepower tractor, Murphy felt he could incorporate it into the Saracens training regime! “We worked on a hand-pulled harness for the Renew2 that has allowed Saracens to incorporate the regular brushing and deccompaction of their 3G practice surface into their training program. We are delighted that such a prestigious club like Saracens RUFC are endorsing the Renew2, especially with the news that they will be making history as the first professional club to play home matches on an artificial pitch once the renovations at Barnet Copthall Stadium are completed” commented Rob Norton. |

Saltext Show : September 2011 [show / hide]
SALTEX SHOW
|
Rain and gusting winds did not stop play for the Artificial Grass Maintenance team at this year’s SALTEX Show at Windsor Race Course. Despite loosing a gazebo to the elements and a few broken graphics, visitors flocked to the stand to see the new Triple Renew machine and to hear about plans for the AQUA PLUS launch. “The first morning when we went to the stand we had no idea what we were going to find” commented Rob Norton, Sales Director. “We were convinced in the hotel that night we were going to see one of our graphics fly past the window. That’s the thing with an outdoor event, the unpredictable British Weather!” “But I’m glad to say trade was very brisk and we took orders for the Triple Renew and arranged demo’s at various facilities. That’s what a trade show is for us, it’s meeting the groundsmen and school representatives and speaking face to face with them. Finding out what there problems are with their artificial surfaces and talking through how to rectify them. We give out advice, we suggest ways of preventing further problems and we really understand the problems, usually budgetary that they are up against. “ “We were very pleased with the way SALTEX works for us, and look forward to 2012” |

The Double Renew : March 2011 [show / hide]
THE DOUBLE RENEW
|
Artificial surface maintenance has been made even easier with the launch of a dynamic new machine. Artificial Grass Maintenance Ltd has launched The Double Renew2, based on the original Renew2 modular design, it offers twice the productivity, ideal for full sized pitches. Developed for sand dressed, sand filled and 3G surfaces, The Double Renew2 retains the great multi-function properties of the Renew2. An increased working width brushes, decompacts, distributes and finishes a full sized pitch in just 45 minutes. Specially designed brushes lift the pile and loosen the infill, while fully adjustable angled tines offer accurate depth adjustment giving a softer rejuvenated playing surface. The angle of the tines follows the surface, preventing snagging or seam damage and the lightweight, contour-hugging, flexible frame ensures The Double Renew2 can be used on surfaces of any age and condition. A height adjustable spreader bar distributes and levels the infill with a back finishing brush then smoothing the surface ready for immediate play. The Double Renew2 easily folds together and castors fitted to the side of the frame allow for easy vertical movement and storage. Artificial Grass Maintenance Ltd sales director Rob Norton said: “I am delighted with this product. It has been developed in direct response from the feedback we receive from grounds staff on a daily basis, it’s wholly customer lead. We recognise the time constraints groundsmen face so by doubling the working width in a fold together design we have made it possible for a full sized pitch to be brushed and decompacted in just 45 minutes. “It allows groundsmen to maintain the surface condition between our visits and is not labour-intensive to use. “The Double Renew2 can be used on any surface, it’s at home on both rubber crumb and sand dressed surfaces of any age and condition, and we have now re-designed it so that users can customise the system with additional components from our comprehensive catalogue so they can have a bespoke machine to suit their individual requirements.” Optional components available include: multiple tine bars; Z brush; soft finishing brush; and adjustment nylon tine system;3-point linkage connection; and surface debris collection box. Artificial Grass Maintenance Ltd recommend The Double Renew2 – which is available for just £2398.00 plus VAT and UK delivery is pulled by a 20 horsepower (or more) tractor. Available also packaged with a 25 horsepower Westwood utility tractor at £6599.00 The company has been designing and developing bespoke machinery for use on artificial surfaces from its base at March in Cambridgeshire for more than 11 years.
